Daily Prayer For January 1, 2021
on Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:49 pm

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We praise you and thank you for allowing us to see another year. We thank you for the possibilities of brighter days that lay before us. We recommit our lives to you this day. We ask you to please forgive us of our sins and renew a right spirit within us.
We ask for your comfort, grace, mercy, and strength for the difficult days that lie ahead. May we grow in your knowledge and grace and become more like Jesus with each passing day. May we experience your overcoming power like never before and truly live in the fullness of your joy. May we be closer to you and stronger in our faith by the end of the year than we are at this moment. Help us become men and women after your own heart who please you, bring honor to your name, and bear much fruit for your kingdom. Please bless us, so we can bless others and help us to serve you well.
Help us to dream big, pray boldly, and not limit you in any way. Your Word says we have not because we ask not. So we ask for your blessings to be upon our families and friends, our countries, our communities, our churches, our health, our finances, and our relationships. We ask for your peace to fill our lives and our homes. We pray for a great awakening and revival to spread throughout the world. We pray that good will overcome evil and that you would redeem all that the enemy has meant for harm. Please continue the work you’ve begun to heal the broken areas of our lives. May we rise from the ashes and find healing, renewal, and restoration. Please bring peace and calm where there is chaos and lead us from the dark valleys into your glorious light.
We ask all of these things, but above all, we ask for your will be to be done, not our own. You know what we need and what is best for us. Help us to trust you, your plans, and your timing in all things. Please order our days and lead and guide us in all that lies ahead. We look forward to all you have for us in this coming year.
We love you, Father. We are so thankful for all you’ve given us and that we can ask these things in the name of our wonderful Savior, Jesus, Amen.
May God bless you abundantly in 2021!
