Daily Prayer For December 30, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
At times the challenges we face are so painful and hard. We are grateful for your grace that sees us through all we face in this life. Father, today we offer up our hearts and our hurts to you. We ask for your help to face our difficulties and challenges with faith and courage. Help us to see past all we’ve endured, all we’ve regretted, all we have failed at, and all we have never been able to let go of. Help us to see everything through your eyes. Help us to trust you and your plans. Help us to wait patiently on you for what we can’t yet see or understand. Help us to keep pressing on with hope in our hearts and with your strength and power.
Please help us to live our lives so we’ll have as few regrets as possible. Help us to do the things we keep putting off. Help us to say anything we need to say. Please convict us about anything we need to make right with you. Help us to weed out any bad habits or any unhelpful or harmful thoughts. Help us to uproot any sins that we’ve allowed to grow and take root in our lives. Give us courage, motivation, perseverance, and determination to conqueror the things that have seemed too hard to overcome. Help us to tackle the things that we’ve put off and procrastined about.
Life is so fragile and fleeting. Help us to take nothing for granted. Help us to seize the day and not settle in any area of our lives. Help us to live life with an eternal perspective and with your passion and zeal. We want to be better and do better in the coming year. Prepare our hearts for what you want to do in us and through us. Till the soil of our hearts and help us to bear much fruit for you. Where we are weak, be strong in us. Help us to keep pressing toward the calling you’ve placed on our lives and to make the most of our days. May this coming new year be the year we see long-awaited breakthroughs that glorify you. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
