Daily Prayer For December 14, 2020

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
You have made and ordained this day. You are in the midst of every miraculous moment, as well as each hard and difficult hour. No matter what is going on, you ask us to rejoice and to be glad this day. Some days we find it easier to do that than others. Please help us to learn how to offer up a sacrifice of praise. Help us to remember that praise is not based on how we feel but on who you are.
We can’t do anything about yesterday. Tomorrow is not promised. Help us to live this day to the fullest and to rejoice in you, no matter what we face. May your joy be our strength. Help us to live this day fully aware of your nearness. Help us not to be dragged down by anxious thoughts of what might or might not happen. Help us to rise above any pain we feel by entering into your presence. Help us cast our cares on you and center our thoughts on your promises that bring peace and comfort. Help us to fill our day with more of you and your power, strength, and presence. Please go before us and order our day and week and lead and guide us in all that we say and do. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
