Daily Prayer For December 13, 2020
on Mon Dec 14, 2020 6:54 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this new day and for granting us the chance to gather once again in prayer. You tell us to intercede on behalf of others. You assure us that the faithful, fervent prayers of righteous people does much good. So today, we ask for your divine intervention knowing that you are The One who can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can begin to think, dream, or imagine. You know hospitals in many areas are full to capacity with people with covid and the many viruses that typically arise this time of year. Please rain down your grace and mercy. Please make yourself known to all who are ill…to all who are anxious and afraid, and to all who have lost loved ones. Please give strength, energy, and protection to all who work in the healthcare field. There are so many needs, on so many levels… only you can meet them all. Only you can make a way where there seems to be no way. May people find you to be the source of hope, comfort, healing, and provision for their needs.
At times, we feel helpless when we see the suffering that surrounds our friends, loved ones, and people we hear and read about. We are grateful for the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us when words fail us. We are grateful that we find your strength, reserves, and resources when we come to the end of our own. We are grateful that You are not limited by our limitations. We are beyond thankful that you are still in control and on the throne and working all things together for good.
There are so many needs right now in so many areas…we could be here for hours praying. We are thankful that you know what we need before we ask, and you know all that weighs so heavily on our hearts. Father, we need you. Our friends and loved ones need you. Our countries need you. Our world needs you. We ask for miracles and for you to show yourself mighty in the midst of the chaos, turmoil, and suffering that surrounds so many. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We give you all praise, glory, and honor and thank you in advance for all you will do. We ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and all you love!
