Daily Prayer For December 6, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for Jesus…our hope…our Messiah…our Deliverer…Our Prince of Peace and Our Redeemer. Though we don’t see everything clearly now, there is one thing we can see clearly…your great love for us. We see that you loved the world so much that you gave your only Son to die in our place and pay a price that we couldn’t pay, so we might have eternal life if we believe in Him. These are the truths we stand on today. That is the light of truth that shines brightly in the darkness.
The hope we cling to is the same hope that drove the wise men to follow a bright and shining star to find a special child who was a promised Deliverer, King, and Messiah. They sought a baby who was deemed a threat by evil men and born with a price on his head…a baby who grew into a man who was well acquainted with grief, sorrow, and pain. Jesus is the promised Messiah who vanquished death and will one day wipe away the last tears from our eyes and say once again, ”It is finished! No More!!!” No more sin, evil, and injustice to contend with. No more pain and sadness. No more tears. No more death. No more poverty. No more loss. No more sickness. No more anxiety, fear, or worries. Death is swallowed up in victory. The King of Kings shall reign forever, and all shall be as you intended it to be. How grateful we are that we are yours, you are ours, and nothing can separate us from you.
May the hurting find comfort and hope today in who you are, all you’ve done, and in all that you promise to do. May joy fill our hearts, knowing our Redeemer lives and better days are coming! With gratitude and love, we thank you for our beloved Savior, Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
May His love, joy, and peace fill your hearts to overflowing, friends!
