Daily Prayer For December 4, 2020
on Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:32 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
This year has brought so many changes for us all, but some are dealing with life changes on top of what everyone else is dealing with. Many are dealing with the loss of loved ones, the loss of health, the loss of jobs, and the loss of financial stability.
We pray for all who are dealing with a new normal or find themselves in difficult places. Please be their strength. Help them to find their footing and navigate their grief and pain. Please open your storehouses and provide for their financial needs, and open doors for jobs for those in need. We ask that you would place your healing hand on the ill and injured. All of these difficult situations are only exacerbated by lockdowns, travel bans, and quarantine orders.
Father, we ask you to do what men cannot do and please eradicate this virus. Many are ill right now with the virus and seasonal illnesses that typically increase at this time of year. You know of the adults and children whose mental health is being impacted by isolation and lockdowns. We ask you to bring hope to the hopeless and touch those who are depressed and are despairing of life. Be a hedge of protection for those who are desperate for their emotional pain to end. You know it’s hard to keep pressing on when you feel like life has lost its meaning, you’ve lost your purpose, or you can see no end or relief in sight. You see and know all who are struggling to hold on. You are the healer of broken hearts, dreams, and lives. You are The Giver Of Life and The One who sustains us. We ask for your divine intervention.
May everyone praying find new strength, a renewed sense of self and purpose, and the courage to believe that you are not through working yet. This is our Red Sea moment. You are still the same God who delivers and makes the impossible happen. You are still the same God who redeems what the enemy means for harm. This season reminds us that you sent Jesus to save us, lead us, and be The Light in the darkness. Please help us keep looking forward with hope and keep believing that our best days are not behind us but lie ahead. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen
May you have a blessed day and weekend, friends!
