Daily Prayer For November 29, 2020
on Sun Nov 29, 2020 8:27 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
As we come before you today, we ask you to speak peace to our hearts and minds. We ask for you to speak peace into our storms. Help us to be more like Jesus so we can sleep peacefully in the midst of our trials and storms. Help us to trust more, worry less, and relinquish how we think things should be and how we think things should work out. Help us to learn to dance in the rain. Help us to experience the fullness of your joy, even in the midst of our trials. Help us learn, like Peter walking on water, that nothing is impossible for you and that the things and troubles of this world fade from view as we focus on you. Help us to find you and know you in new ways. May there be nothing in our lives that will hinder our prayers or your miracles. Help us to be able to say, “It is well with my soul,” no matter what we face.
We lay before you every sin that hinders us and every chain that binds us. We give you our hopes, dreams, and desires and ask you to open the doors that you want us to walk through and close any that will lead us away from you or your best plan for our lives. Lead and guide us and make your will be clearly known, so we stay on the course you’ve chosen for us. Please grant us wisdom on how to deal with the difficult people and situations in our lives. We trust that you know every need and have the solutions for every troubling situation we have. Please bind our wounds and heal us, emotionally, mentally, and physically, according to your will and in your timing.
Please open our eyes to see signs of your nearness. Help us to hear your still small voice. Help us remember all the times you’ve been faithful and all of your mighty works. Speak to us, Father. We are listening. We long for you to have your will and your way with us that we might hear you say one day, “Well, done, my good and faithful servant.” We praise you and give you glory and honor. We thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
Blessings be upon you, dear brothers and sisters!
