Daily Prayer For November 26, 2020
on Thu Nov 26, 2020 1:59 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today we come to you with a heart of gratitude. We are thankful for our Savior Jesus, who made a way for us, that we might find forgiveness, redemption, healing, hope, and salvation. We thank you for the fellowship and bond that we have with other believers and for the opportunity to worship you freely.
Whether we are in times of plenty or times of need, we know that everything we have comes from you. We are grateful for the beauty of this world and for your promises and provision. Help us never take for granted things like the ability to see and hear, the ability to breathe well, and days without pain. Too often, we don’t appreciate our health until we have a problem. We thank you for clean, hot, and cold water, shelter, food, and clothing. Help us to be more aware of all that we have instead of what we lack.
We thank you for the gifts of life and love and the people we have had in our lives who have loved us, supported us, prayed for us, and encouraged us. Each day is a precious gift that is like a vapor that quickly passes. Help us to truly treasure our days and those you’ve placed in our lives. May we be filled with gratitude as we think about all the ways you have been there for us and our loved ones and the many times you have answered our prayers.
Lord, we thank you for all that awaits us in heaven. We thank you for your peace, mercy, and grace. We thank you for the Bible and the life-sustaining and transforming things within it. There is so much to be grateful for, yet we often lose sight of our blessings amidst the daily grind, stresses, and trials of life.
We are thankful for all who have sacrificed so much to give us our freedoms. We are grateful for the believers through the ages who have spread the good news of the gospel around the world. We owe so much to so many.
We ask for your comfort, healing, and provision for all who are alone, ill, grieving, have heavy hearts, or are in need today. We pray for your blessings and a hedge of protection to be around all who cannot be home because they are working to protect and serve in every capacity.
We want to live with an attitude of thanksgiving and gratitude, not just one day a year, but every day of our lives. We love you, Lord. We are grateful for our Savior Jesus in whose name we can pray. Amen.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends…I am thankful for each of you!
