Daily Prayer For November 22, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For November 22, 2020

on Sun Nov 22, 2020 1:28 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your Word tells us to trust in you. We are told that when we trust you, we will be blessed. You promise you will keep in perfect peace anyone who trusts in you. We’re told we don’t need to fear bad news when we trust in you. Unfortunately, we only learn to trust you by being put in situations where we learn from the first-hand experience that you are trustworthy, you are who you say you are, and you do the things you say you will do. We can’t learn to trust you just by reading about it or being told to do it. We want to trust you more, Father. We want trust and faith to be our default responses instead of worry and fear. Please help us to do better in this area so we will be blessed and have your peace.

May the trials we are dealing with be a catalyst for a deeper faith and the ability to trust you more. Your Word tells us that a nursing mother wouldn’t forget her child. Still, even if she did, you will not forget us. You promise you will be our God throughout our lifetime–until our hair is white with age. May the difficulties and challenges we face be the very things that help us entrust ourselves totally to your care. Help us remember that anything you allow in our lives always serves a purpose in your master plan, and if any situation drives us into your arms, that is a good thing. In the midst of our struggles, help us find your eternal gifts that the world can’t give or take away…things like your peace and trusting you so completely with our lives that we have no fear.

We’re told that faith believes in what we can’t yet see. It means trusting in advance, that which will only make sense in reverse. It is trusting when it makes no earthly sense. Help us to have faith and trust like a child. Help us to have faith like Abraham, who was willing to sacrifice his beloved Isaac because He trusted you. He didn’t know what your plan was, but He knew what you had promised. Please use our trials to refine us and make us into the men and women you want us to be.

We commit ourselves and all we face into your hands, Father. We seek your will and not our own. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen

Praying and believing good things for you friends!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
