Daily Prayer For November 18, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For November 18, 2020

on Wed Nov 18, 2020 8:20 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather together again, our hearts are still heavy with the spiritual battles we face individually and globally. Help us remember that Jesus is in us, and we are in Him…we are Yours, and You are ours, and there is no better, safer, reassuring place to be.

We know what our adversary is capable of. At times we need to remind ourselves of all that he can’t do. We are grateful that he can’t steal our salvation, snatch us from your hands, or separate us from your love. We are comforted to know that he can’t stop your ability to care for us, protect us, provide for us, or deliver us…that he cannot thwart your plans or stop you from redeeming for our good, all that he means for harm…that he can’t stop you from giving us your peace or from fulfilling your plans and purposes in our lives…that he can’t quench the Holy Spirit within us or stop you from working through us. Please help us remember we are held in your arms, not in his grip. Help us to resist our enemy and avoid his snares.

Please help us stand-fast on your Word. Help us use it as the weapon it is intended to be. Even Jesus used the Word against our adversary by saying, “It is written.” Help us not to become discouraged by the things that are happening. Help us be encouraged by your Word. Please help us to be constant in prayer. We often settle for talking and complaining to others when we should spend that time talking to you instead.

Father, please work in our hearts and lives as we lift our burdens, cares, and concerns to your hands. We commit this day, our families and friends, our homes, our leaders, our communities, our countries, and our world to your hands. Please heal the sick, please eradicate covid, and free us from the shutdowns that keep people apart and from being able to go to school and work. Father, you know what we need better than we do. You know the truth from the lies and what is in the hearts of all people. We ask for your divine intervention and for you to shine your light of truth in areas where the enemy is working overtime. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. We are grateful for all the seen and unseen ways you bless us and protect us. We thank you for our Savior and Messiah, Jesus, in whose name we ask these things. Amen

May His hope and peace fill your hearts, friends!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
