Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

You tell us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. You tell us to be patient with one another, pray for one another, and forgive one another just as you have forgiven us. If we are honest, we have not been as good about these things as we should during these trying times. We might not always verbalize what we are thinking or feeling about others, but you see our thoughts. You know our hearts. You know about our frustrations, anger, and sadness over the many things we see happening and all that is impacting our lives, our families, our communities, and our countries. You know how our hearts hurt when we see others in need or being hurt or mistreated. You know how difficult it is for us to see those who do wrong to not be held to account while the innocent suffer.

Please help us to be more like Jesus. Help us to have the mind of Christ. We want to be like Him, but we fail often and fall short of how we would like to be. Help us be so in tune with the Holy Spirit that our first response to any situation is to pray. Help us to turn our anxious thoughts, worries, and complaints into prayers. Help us to love with your love, and show the same grace, mercy, and forgiveness to others that you show to us. Help us remember who our true enemy is. Help us remember our struggles are not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. We get battle-weary, Father, so we ask you to renew us, restore us, revive us, and breathe new life into us, so we overflow with your power, strength, and might.

You see all who are hurting. You see all who are in dire straights and in ill health. You see all who are sad and longing to hold loved ones and all who are nervous about what the future holds. You see every need, spoken and unspoken. You tell us to ask, seek, and knock and to come with confidence to your throne of grace so we can receive mercy and grace in our time of need. Father, please open your storehouses to provide for every financial need. We ask you to unleash your healing power on all who need a touch from you. Please make roadways in the wilderness and open doors that no man can shut.

You are great and mighty, and there is none like you, our God and King. We look to you this day for our every need, and thank you in advance for all you will do. Please forgive us for our sins and help us to forgive those who sin against us. Please deliver us from evil, and may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the name of our Messiah and Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

May the Lord bless you in ways you can’t begin to imagine, friends!
