Daily Prayer For October 26, 2020
on Mon Oct 26, 2020 11:17 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Your Word says you made each star, you have named each one, and you hold the stars in place. Not one is missing. You gave the constellations their names. Nothing in this life is random or unaccounted for. As vast as our universe is, you know everything going on, down to where each star should be. You not only know each star by name, but you know each one of us by name as well. You know each day we will live before we have lived even one day. You see each bird that falls, and you know the number of hairs on our heads. Nothing takes you by surprise. It is so hard to comprehend all that you are, all that you do, and all you are capable of. Our finite minds just can’t begin to understand or grasp your infinite greatness.
Please forgive us for the times we have doubted you or questioned where you are in the midst of our struggles and challenges. You promise you are with us all of our days. Nothing happens that is out of your control. We need only look up at the millions of stars and galaxies to know that nothing is too hard for you, and if you can manage and order the countless galaxies and stars, you can order the affairs of men. Please forgive us for our times of arrogance and ignorance. Please forgive us when we don’t allow you to be in your rightful place on the throne of our lives.
Your Word says no eye has seen, nor any human mind conceived of the things you have prepared for those who love you. Lord, we love you, and we bow before you today and give you all the glory and honor that is due you. Thank you for loving us, making a way for us, and for meeting our every need. We are grateful that you know everything we will encounter this week and that you have gone before us to make the crooked places straight and to make a way where there seems to be no way. May our hearts be at peace as we trust you to lead and guide us in the way we should go and how you think is best. We are grateful that you hold us and all of creation in your hands. We are grateful for your assurance that we have nothing to fear or be anxious about because you are with us. We thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen
May you have a blessed week, friends!
