Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Many times, we have joined together and asked that you would calm the winds and waves and that you would divert the path of storms and weaken them. You have been so very gracious and answered our prayers so many times. We come today on behalf of our world for a different type of storm that is raging. We ask once again for your divine help, intervention, and protection from the chaos and violence erupting everywhere.

We pray for protection for all who are in harm’s way. We pray for comfort and peace for all who are anxious and concerned for themselves or loved ones. We pray for all who have lost their livelihoods and loved ones. We pray for all emergency personnel, law enforcement officers, first responders, and all who are called on to serve and protect in times of crisis and emergencies. Their jobs have become infinitely harder and more dangerous. Please be their strength…mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Please surround them and their family’s with your angels to protect them.

May people find your peace, comfort, hope, and strength in these troubling times. We often ask you to do what only you can do, but there is so much that is going on that we are helpless to do anything about. We need your help to shine your light of truth and reveal all is hidden, to thwart our adversary’s plans, and to overcome evil with good. This year has been like a tsunami of one tumultuous event after another. We know that you can eradicate this virus, calm the violence and destruction that is surging, and restore all that the enemy has stolen, just as easily as you speak peace to the winds and waves. We are humbling ourselves before you, and asking you to heal our land, Lord. The spiritual battles that are raging are like nothing we have ever seen in our lifetimes. Please lead us, guide us, and be a hedge of protection about us and those we love. There has never been a more urgent time for your children to be united in fervent prayer. Please strengthen us, help us, and rise up within us, so we can be the people that you’ve called us to be.

We are grateful that you never grow tired of us coming to you with our requests. Thank you for seeing us through the difficult times we are dealing with individually and collectively. We are grateful that when we come to the end of our strength, and the end of our reserves and resources, we find yours. We are grateful that you are our Protector, Defender, and Provider and that we have nothing to fear because you are with us. We are grateful that you have the last word in all things. Thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen

May you feel His comfort, peace, and nearness today, friends!
