Daily Prayer For September 21, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For September 21, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we begin this new week, please protect our hearts and minds so we can maintain a Christ-like attitude in the midst of all the negativity and troubles that surround us. Help us to pray instead of complaining. Help us to focus on you and not the things that make us angry or upset. May your Holy Spirit prompt us every time we start to feel anxious, worried, or stressed to turn those thoughts into prayers. Help us to have the mind of Christ that the apostle Paul spoke so often about. Please help us to call to mind all the mighty works you have done in the past and all that you promise to do in the future. We are grateful that no one is too far gone to be beyond your reach and that you can turn the bleakest situations around with just a thought or word.

As we start this new week, may we see signs of your nearness. We may not see miracles like the seas parting, hear an audible voice, see a burning bush, or have manna rain down from the skies, but you do show us in so many ways that you are with us and working in our midst. We are grateful that just as you sustained your children in the wilderness one day at a time, you will do the same for us. When we feel weak or overwhelmed, help us to remember your grace, strength, and power will be more than enough to see us through today.

Lord, you know all of our needs. You know all of the things that are on our hearts this day. We ask for your will to be done in our lives, in the lives of those we love, and in our world. We thank you in advance for the answers and provision that is coming. We thank you for the reports of the many thousands of people coming to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Please bless and multiply the efforts of all who are out, proclaiming your Word and spreading the good news of the gospel. May your hope continue to rise, and your light shine brightly in the darkness. We thank you for this new day you’ve given us. May we serve you well and glorify you in all that we think, say, and do. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

May God’s blessings be upon you and your week, friends!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
