Daily Prayer For September 4, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For September 4, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As parents, we would do anything in our power to protect our children, and that is even more true of you. Thank you for fighting for us and for protecting us. We are reminded by all we see happening in our world, we are in a spiritual battle with an enemy who wants to destroy us and those we love. Too often, we forget the bigger picture of the troubling things we see going on. Please help us to stay motivated to keep standing in the gap for those we love who are struggling and those who don’t know you. Sadly, so many are full of hate, and they don’t realize where that hate comes from. They oppose you and don’t know the danger they are in. They don’t recognize who their real enemy is. They are blinded to the truth of who you are.

Please open the eyes of the spiritually blind. We continue to pray for a great awakening in our world. We continue to pray against the evil that traffics, abuses, and kills children and teens. We pray against the evil that is persecuting and killing Christians. We pray against the evil that is shuttering and destroying churches and anything that represents you. We pray against the rage and violence that is destroying lives and livelihoods. Lord, stir within your people a strong desire to be a praying force for good and to let your light shine through us to illuminate the darkness that surrounds us.

Please help us to be wise and discerning and tuned into you and your voice. Help us to be led by the Holy Spirit and not our emotions. Help us to live each day knowing that it could be our last. Help us to make the most of our days. Help us not to give up on anyone. We are grateful that as long as we have breath, there is a possibility for change and hope.

Help us to remember that you are in us, for us, behind us, and surrounding us with your angel armies, and no foe can defeat us when you are by our side. If we could see into the spiritual realm, we would not forget how real the battles are that are going on around us. We would be so sure of our calling and purpose and your presence and power. We thank you for your faithfulness and that because of Jesus, the battle is won, and our victory is sure! May we walk in your power and purpose today and not be distracted by the temporary. Help us to be mindful of the eternal, and that time is short. May we serve you well this day. We thank you for our mighty Savior Jesus in whose name we ask all these things. Amen.

May you be filled with His peace and hope, friends!
