Daily Prayer For August 25, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For August 25, 2020

on Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:13 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

When we come to the end of our resources, we find yours. When we come to the end of our strength, we find yours. When we can’t rescue ourselves, we find that you are our Rescuer. When things are dark, we become more aware of your light. When we are too exhausted to move, we learn to look up…we learn to lean on and rely on you…we see things through new eyes as we focus on you… we find you do not fail…ever! You are the God who provides, and sometimes we have to be brought to the end of ourselves so we can simply let you be God in our lives and recognize that you are in control, not us.

There are so many stories in Your word of people who thought they had reached the end. They thought they were finished and could go no further, but you are a God of surprises and restoration. You choose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. Things are not over until you say they are over. You have the last word always. No pit is so deep that your love is not deeper still. Nothing is impossible for you, and through you, all things become possible.

Help us to believe that there is more going on than what can be seen and felt. Help us to believe that you are working behind the scenes to bring good from all of the tragedies and chaos that are unfolding before our eyes. Help us to stay strong and not become discouraged. Help us to remember that battles are being fought for our good in spiritual realms that we can’t yet see, and Christ has won the victory. We are grateful that your eye is always on us, that you are always thinking about us, and your ear is always listening for our cries.

Please fill us with your Holy Spirit. Help us to seek you and feed upon your Word with abandon. Help us to grow stronger and mightier as prayer warriors for the many needs we see and hear about. Please renew us, and our hope, strength, and courage. Consecrate us, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us. Take all that we are, all that we hope to be and our deepest longings, and build us into a vessel that is worthy of you and your glory. Be glorified in our lives and our circumstances. Please pour out your blessings like rain upon each person who is praying. We thank you for all you have done and for all you will do.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
