Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

Many are praying with us who have wounds that have never healed. For many, when they reflect on their life, they are filled with sadness and painful memories. We lift up everyone to you who is in that difficult place…we ask for your divine help and intervention. You are our Healer and The Great Physician. By Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. Please heal each one with the kind of healing that will make them feel like they are born again and renewed and restored in ways they didn’t know was even possible. We ask you to please send people into their lives who will stand with them, love them, laugh with them, and share your joy with them. Help each one to make new, beautiful memories to eclipse the bad memories. We are new creations in You. You say You will turn our mourning to joy. Please anoint each of us with your joy, peace, and comfort.

Please bind all of our wounds. We reach out to touch the hem of your garment and receive what only you can give. We know better days await when we see you face to face, but we ask for your grace and mercy at this moment. May we find lightness in spirit and freedom from pain. Please flood our bodies with feel-good endorphins, even as we are praying at this moment. Please work in each of us and bring healing and wholeness. You tell us that we have not, because we ask not, so we are asking according to your will, for you to do a mighty work in each of us.

Thank You for saving us, for loving us, for delivering us and for giving us hope. We are grateful that you have the last word in all things. We are not defined by what has happened to us. We are who you say we are, and you tell us we are loved, held, cherished, and heirs to your kingdom. No one can ever take that away from us. There is so much that is not good in our world, but you are good all the time. You want what is best for us and have answers to prayers that we have yet to pray. You not only want us to give you our whole hearts, but you also want to make our hearts whole. We praise you and thank you for all that you’ve seen us through, and for all that is to come as you continue the good work you’ve begun in us. We are grateful that we can pray to you In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Trusting and believing you will see God’s goodness, friends!
