Daily Prayer For July 31, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For July 31, 2020

on Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:43 pm
Hello, Friends! I feel led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Lord,

Your Word says you will cover us with your wing…that your faithfulness will protect and defend us. We are told not to fear dangers at night, sudden attacks during the day, or the evils that kill. You tell us that you have your angels around us to protect us, and your eye is upon us. When we are in trouble, you will be with us…you will rescue, reward, and save all who call on you and acknowledge you.

Our enemy is fierce, tireless, and unrelenting. We can feel the oppressive forces at work like never before. May all the things we see happening in the world be a reminder to us of why you came…of why we all need a Savior. May we be unrelenting in prayer and strong in your power and might.

Help us to remember that we are held by you…that you will redeem what the enemy has meant for harm, and you will bring forth good from everything that’s been stolen and lost. Every drop of spilled blood is precious to you. Every shed tear matters to you. You grieve with those who grieve. There is coming a day when every injustice will be made right, and everything that is hidden in the dark will be revealed by your light. One day truth and righteousness will prevail, good will triumph over every evil, every knee will bow before you and call you Lord, and we will dwell in your house forever.

Please help us to be confident in the things you’ve taught us and shown us. May we push discouragement, worries, pain, and fear aside and not allow them to consume our minds. May the words of your mouth be the meditations of our hearts. May we stand in the gap for each other and remember that we are stronger together. You are the light and hope of the world. May these words stick in our hearts and soothe our minds today. We are grateful for your peace and for your joy, that is our strength. We thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit to comfort and guide us and for our Savior, who is at your right hand interceding for us. Thank you for all that you do, all that you are, and all that is to come. In the name of our Savior Jesus, we pray, Amen.

May you feel His presence and nearness today!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
