Daily Prayer For July 30, 2020
on Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:40 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for another chance to gather together again. Today we lift up to you all who are feeling drained by grief, loss, depression, and a steady stream of problems that just aren’t going away. We pray for all who are weary from illness, disability, and battles and struggles that others can’t see. We lift up all the caregivers and all who work in fields where they find it hard to be able to take a break or find respite from the stresses and burdens they deal with. We ask on behalf of all who are just so tired that they can’t even remember what it feels like to not be tired…please touch each one and provide for them, so they find refreshment and restoration in body, mind, and spirit.
May each one in need receive a touch from you so they can feel the tension leave their bodies and so they can relax. Please put your healing hand on all who struggle with insomnia and the inability to sleep well. Sleep is so vital and essential for good emotional, mental, and physical health. Prolonged lack of sleep is so destructive in so many ways. May people see you work miracles on their behalf. We ask you to help all who are always hyper-vigilant… all who feel like they can never relax, slow down, or let their guard down due to stress, volatile situations, worry, PTSD, or heavy responsibilities.
Lord, may we all find the resources and wisdom we need to be better able to rest, relax, and care for ourselves properly. Please help us to see a way where there currently appears to be no way to improve our circumstances. Please, open doors that we don’t even know exist that might help us, or those we love, to live more vibrant, balanced, and healthy lives. Help us to find your strength, joy, peace, and rest that is beyond our own…help us to seek you always as our counselor, guide, and companion. May our hope be anchored in you. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
May our Abba Father bless you in ways you can’t begin to imagine, friends!
