Daily Prayer For July 13, 2020
on Mon Jul 13, 2020 10:06 pm
Hello Friends! I feel led to re-post this prayer today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of seeing another day. Thank you for your mercies that are new this morning and for your grace that will see us through this day. Today, help us to rise up and be confident in these truths…we are not under our circumstances, we are under the shelter of your wing. You, the Creator of All, are our refuge and safe haven. We are held with your righteous right hand. We are loved and cherished by you.
Open our eyes to see the spiritual realities that surround us. Christ has defeated death. He is seated next to you in the heavenly realms, and He is interceding for us at this moment. We serve a risen King who cannot be defeated. At times we feel like we are sinking under the weight of hardships, pain, losses, and trials, and we lose sight of the fact that Christ is the solid ground on which we stand. His victory is our victory! He is alive, death is defeated, He is ours, and we are His.
Your Word is full of passages that tell us to remember…to remember your teachings. Remember your past miracles. Remember who we are in you. Remember, you are our Rock and Fortress. Remember that you are mindful of us…your thoughts are for us. If we could count your thoughts towards us, they would number more than the grains of sand. The Holy Spirit dwells within us. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is within us. Immanuel is with us and will never leave us. Help us to be mindful of who we are as your heirs and children. Too often, we settle for crumbs when you have made a place for us at your table. We are not beggars or paupers. We are children of the King. Every time we call out to you and pray to you, we bring your power…the power of the omnipotent God into our lives and circumstances.
Help us to be open to all you want to do in us and through us, Father. Help us to seek you, more than we seek your blessings, or to seek relief from our burdens and pain. Grant us your wisdom and discernment. Light our way and illuminate the darkness that surrounds us. Help us to see ourselves and our circumstances through your eyes. May your Word come alive in us like never before. Help us to surrender to your will and purposes and relinquish the things of his world so we might receive all that you have for us. Please move in us and among us. We give you all praise, glory, and honor and look forward to all that is to come. It’s in the name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
May you have a glorious day in Him, friends!
