Daily Prayer For July 3, 2020
on Sat Jul 04, 2020 6:34 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We read in your Word about Moses and how he needed others to come beside him and hold his arms up when he was too weak and weary to hold them up on his own. We read how Jesus asked His disciples to pray for Him when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane. There are many passages of scripture that speak of how we need each other. You didn’t design us to do life alone. We need each other to fight spiritual battles and intercede for others. You want us to support and lift each other. We are all part of the same body. One part is not more important or valuable than another. We all serve a unique purpose, and we all are needed for The Body of Christ to function as it should.
Please help us to be more sensitive, intuitive, and perceptive of the needs of those around us. We are all fighting battles where we need spiritual, mental, emotional, and sometimes even physical or financial help and support. Help us to become mighty prayer warriors for our friends and family… for those in ministry… for the body of Christ… for the persecuted church… for those who protect and serve… for those who are in the medical and emergency fields… for our leaders…for our countries…for the upcoming election and for all who don’t know you.
Please place on our hearts things that you want us to pray about in addition to what we’ve mentioned. Remind us to pray for, instead of complaining about, the people who take offense easily and are always angry, argumentative, demanding, or self-centered. We can see so many who need to find your peace and joy and all that you offer. Please help us to love those people like you do and to have a heart of compassion for them. We need your help to not become discouraged or infected by the negative, toxic environment that is becoming so pervasive. Help us to be able to forgive like Jesus and to take our thoughts captive, so we don’t dwell on the negative. Help us to keep our hearts and minds pure and centered on you so we can have your peace.
Please move in our hearts and move among us as a body of believers. Help us to be emotionally, mentally, and spiritually healthy as individuals and as your church. Thank you in advance for all you will do in us and through us. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
May the Lord’s favor and blessing be upon you!
