Daily Prayer For June 25, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For June 25, 2020

on Thu Jun 25, 2020 6:24 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We are grateful that you understand us and never turn us away. You don’t tell us not to grieve or cry. You know it’s natural for us to have heavy hearts when we suffer, when we see others suffer, and when we see sad and disturbing things going on in our world.

The closer we grow to you, and the more that we become like you the more our hearts are broken by the things that break your heart. You don’t tell us to put on a consistently happy face or pretend that everything is fine when it’s not. We are made in your image. You grieve, you weep, you care. Your heart breaks right along with ours when we are brought to our knees by illness, loss, and grief. You understand all we go through, but you don’t want us to lose hope. You don’t want us to despair. You don’t want us to give up. You tell us to look to you and to let you carry our burdens. You ask us to trust in you and to let your hope fill us. You promise your joy will be our strength. You promise your resurrection power is within us. You knew we would have struggles and pain, so you left us Your Word and the Holy Spirit so we could have your comfort, strength, guidance, and encouragement. Thank you, Lord, for all you’ve given us to help us to keep pressing on until you call us home! Help us to remember all that you have equipped us with and provided for us.

Many have written who are struggling because of isolation, loneliness, and lack of contact with others. Help those in need to find safe havens of friendship and fellowship where they can be themselves and be open and honest and not have to pretend that everything is okay when it isn’t. Please open doors and lines of communications that have previously been unavailable. Please send your angels unaware to those who are losing hope and the will to keep hanging on.

We are grateful that you are with us in every moment of this day. We are thankful that your eye is upon us, and you are interceding for us at this very moment at the right hand of our Father. Please fill us with your Spirit and help us to see signs of your nearness and glimpses of your glory today. Help us to remember whose we are. Help us to stand fast on your Word and promises and not be led by what we feel. We are grateful that we can ask these things in your precious name. Amen.

Praying you will be overwhelmed by His peace today!
