Daily Prayer For June 22, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For June 22, 2020

on Mon Jun 22, 2020 8:33 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Here we are at the beginning of a new week, and some of us are exhausted and feel emotionally drained from the weekend. Many have been overwhelmed by grief. Others have heavy hearts from watching loved ones repeatedly deal with the same issues because they disregard help, advice, and change. Many feel helpless as they watch people close to them make poor choices, while others just don’t know how to deal with the people in their lives who can’t see beyond themselves or their own point of view. So many are overwhelmed by sadness as their family members suffer from health issues and disabilities.

Father, we can’t make anyone think the right things or act the right way. We can’t turn others from their sins, protect them from getting hurt, or keep them from harming others. We can’t make anyone love us, others, or you. All we can do is be in control of our own thoughts, responses, and actions…and pray. Please help us to let go and commit to your hands, all of our pain and sadness. Help us to release to you everyone we love and care about and the problematic people and situations in our lives. Help us to pray more and worry less. Help us to let go of anything that is not ours to carry. You are far more equipped to help anyone than we are. Help us to find the ability to cope well with the situations we deal with that have no quick fixes or easy answers. Please grant us your wisdom in all things. Please heal our hurts and turn our mourning to dancing.

Please help us to keep our eyes on you as we go forward this week. Help us not to dwell on what used to be, what could have been, or what we think might happen in the future. Help us to live in the moment and take one day at a time. Please renew a right spirit within us. Please take what little energy, joy, and peace of mind we have at this moment and multiply it. We are so grateful that you help us in our weakness, and nothing is impossible for you. We lay before you our worries, anxieties, difficult circumstances, burdens, relationships, ailments, pain, and needs. We ask to exchange these things for your peace, comfort, and strength. We commit this week to you, and all that’s in it. Please refresh and revive us in body, mind, and spirit and lead and guide us. We love you, Father, and we are so grateful we can ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen.

May you have a blessed and peaceful week, friends!
