Daily Prayer For June 20, 2020
on Sat Jun 20, 2020 8:01 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We thank you for allowing us to see a new day and a new season. The last season was so hard, Lord. We encountered things we’ve never experienced before. We know we only made it through all of the challenges and difficulties with your help and grace. Thank you for seeing us through the last season. We trust that you will be with us through this new season as well.
As we look at the landscape of our world, things are still in a state of upheaval and chaos. Your Word says there is a time to plant and a time to uproot. A time to build and a time to tear down. A time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. We have seen all these things play out before us in the last months. Your Word also says you make all things beautiful in your time. We know every season serves a purpose, and you don’t waste anything that you allow into our lives. Please help us to keep looking to you to lead us through these challenging and perplexing times. Help us to not grow weary in well-doing. Help us to run the race before us and not grow tired or faint. Help us to persevere and endure with your help, strength, and power. Help us to be lights in the darkness that point the way to you.
We ask you to work miracles, Lord. Please do what we cannot do to bring hope, revival, healing, restoration, and renewal to our lives and world. We are grateful that you promise to bring beauty from ashes and to turn our mourning to joy. May we come out of these difficult seasons stronger, more resilient, more faith-filled, and more like Jesus. May your peace and love fill our hearts, homes, churches, communities, nations, and world.
We don’t know what the future holds, but we know you do. We can make our plans, but you are The One who ordains our steps. Please lead us and guide us and grant us your wisdom in all things. We want to please you in all that we think, say, and do. Thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen
Praying this new season holds many blessings and much joy for each of you!
