Daily Prayer For June 11, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For June 11, 2020

on Thu Jun 11, 2020 5:42 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

You promise in Your word, that if we acknowledge You, that You will direct our path. You tell us that Your Word is a light unto our path. You tell us that the ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine. You tell us that we can make our plans, but it is You who directs our steps and makes them happen. You tell us that broad is the way that leads to death, but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Lord, we are asking for You to lead and guide us today. Please go before us and make the rough roads smooth and the crooked places straight. Lead us beside still waters. Open doors that only You can open and no man can close. We ask for Your wisdom and knowledge, so we might understand Your will for our lives….so we might understand Your Word….so we will not stray to the left or the right, but stay on the right course that leads to You.

When life is hard, it seems like our pain and our journey will never end. Help us to remember that feelings can be deceptive. May we use Your Word and instructions to guide our steps and not our feelings. Feelings may come and go and change easily, but the truth of Your Word and Your promises will never change.

Lord, You know all who are hurting. You know all who are grieving and missing loved ones. You know all who are concerned about people they care about. You know all who are worried and have anxiety about the things that are happening in our world. You see all who need a healing touch from you. You know all who are dealing with plates that are overflowing with losses and adversity. You tell us to come to You and to ask, seek, and knock. You tell us to pray without ceasing. You tell us to come to You when we are weary and burdened and You will give us rest. So we once again come to You and ask You to do what only You can do. You know what we need and what is best for each of us. We ask for Your will to be done in our lives. We are grateful that You are an on-time God who is never late or early and we can trust that what You promise will come to pass. We love You, Lord, and we thank you in advance for the answers, help, healing, and provision that is coming. May we find peaceful rest in Your presence today. We are grateful we can ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen

May you feel His comfort and nearness, friends!
