Daily Prayer For May 26, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For May 26, 2020

on Wed May 27, 2020 2:10 am
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

As we face this day, we ask that you would lead and guide us. Please grant us what we need so that we may grow in your wisdom, knowledge, and discernment. Help us to discern not only between what is right and wrong but between what is good, better, and best. Please help us to grow to be more insightful and perceptive of the needs around us. Help us to see beyond ourselves to see as you see. Help us to be sensitive and aware, where we’ve been oblivious. Help us to be able to detect truth from lies. Help us to not be led astray or deceived. Please grant us the ability to sense those who mean us harm and those who are not what they seem. Please shine your light of truth on what’s been hidden and lurking in the dark.

Help us to be disciplined and not impulsive. Help us to make choices not based on emotions or fear, but with a clear head, a sound mind, with the truth of Your Word and with the help of the Holy Spirit. Help us to become resilient and healthy physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Help us to be so anchored in You, and so tuned into Your voice, that when the storms of life come, we will not be shaken. May Your Word take root in our lives. May your Living Water and peace flow through us like a river.

You don’t want us to feel like we are at the mercy of events or people. You want us to be confident in your authority and to feel safe and secure because you are in control. You give us a firm foundation to stand on, but we must choose to stand on it. We must decide where we look…we must intentionally look to you and not the storms raging around us. We must choose what thoughts we think about. We must choose faith over fear. We must choose grace over guilt. We must choose worship over worry and hope over despair. Lord, make us people after Your own heart who are living for you. Please help us to do through Jesus, what we find so difficult to do in our own strength and abilities.

Thank you in advance for all you will do. We commit this day and week into your hands. We look to you for guidance and clarity for all that is going on in the world. We continue to ask that you would show yourself in miraculous ways, and do what only you can do to heal, restore, and redeem what the enemy has meant for harm. We thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

May your week be richly blessed, friends!
