Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for how far you have brought us on our journey in this life. We thank you for all you have seen us through…for the battles you have fought on our behalf. We thank you for all the seen and unseen things you have protected us from. We thank you for taking our burdens and lightening our heavy loads. We thank you for carrying us when we were too weak to stand. Thank you for our Savior Jesus, who took on our guilt, shame, and sin and made us clean and righteous with His precious blood. What incredible love you have shown us that you would send your Son so all who believe in Him could be saved and have eternal life.

Help us to remember the joy of our salvation, Father. Help us to persevere and keep running the race before us. At times it feels like we are just limping along towards the finish line, but we know with your power, strength, and might we shall prevail. We are thankful that every day brings us one day closer to you. Please help us to make the most of our remaining days. Help us to be mindful of our witness for you and about the legacy we will leave behind. Help us to live our lives, so people see you in us. May others see your strength in us. May people see how your peace and joy sustain us amid our pain and hard days. May your love flow through us and splash onto others with the words we say and the things we do. May we be known for your kindness, grace, mercy, and compassion. May we be known as encouragers who lift others up in word and deed. There is much to complain about in this life, but we don’t want to be known as complainers. Remind us to bring our complaints to you.

Help us to speak the truth in love, and may your wisdom and Spirit help us to know when to be silent and when to speak. We are not where we want to be, Father, but we want to learn to be content in all things. We know we can only be that way with your help. Help us to be all that you know we can be. Help us to learn the lessons you want us to learn right where we are at. Help us not to wish away and waste our days waiting for better ones to arrive. Help us to live each day like it could be our last and to live a life that is pleasing to you. We offer up all that we are and all that we hope to be to you. Please be glorified in us and through us. In the precious name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen

May you have a blessed day, friends!
