Daily Prayer For May 4, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for this new week. We ask for you to order our days that our time will be well spent. May we have a burning desire within us to spend time with you, especially at the beginning of each new day. May you be our priority. May our first and last thoughts of each day begin and end with you.
We thank you for the spiritual armor and strength you supply us. May we see ourselves as girded and ready for anything we will come up against this week. We are grateful for your help and for equipping us for every battle we will face. Help us to remember you have gone before us. All we need to do is look to you, and you will lead us, guide us, and protect us.
You know so many people are on the verge of financial ruin. Many lives and livelihoods have already been devastated. Many of our farmers and ranchers and all the related industries are watching their businesses crumbling before their eyes. There are so many who are falling between the cracks in receiving help and relief…very small companies, independent contractors, the self-employed, and sole proprietors. Millions and millions of people have been laid off, or fired, while others have watched their incomes just evaporate. So many were just barely making it before everything shut down, and now things are so dire. You see all who have been driven to despair and desperation. You see all that is going on behind the scenes. You know all the motives and thoughts behind the decisions being made that are impacting our lives. There are so many differing opinions among experts and so much conflicting information. We know who is behind the confusion, discord, destruction, chaos, and evaporating way of life we once knew. You know the truth from the lies. You know what needs to be done and what is not helpful and damaging. Please intervene and do what no man can do. We ask that you would miraculously work in a way where there will be no doubt that you are in control and on the throne.
We pray for our world and leaders. Stir their hearts to seek your wisdom and your will. Please pour out your grace and mercy and your healing balm for all who need a healing touch and miracle from you…whether it’s emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, or financially. Please open your storehouses. Please reveal all that’s hidden and overcome evil with good. May there be repentance and revival in our homes, churches, countries, and the world. We look to you and we seek your will. Thank you in advance for all you will do. We love you and give you all glory, praise, and honor. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
