Daily Prayer For May 1, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For May 1, 2020

on Sat May 02, 2020 2:27 am
Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Our Father,

We thank you for your grace, your power, and your authority over every situation we face. We are grateful that you have already made a way and a path through the hard things that are before us. May we be at peace knowing that you have figured out the where, when, why, and how of every financial need we have. You are still the God who turned water to wine, miraculously gave the widow oil to sell, placed a coin in a fish’s mouth, filled the apostle’s nets to overflowing, and turned a few fish and loaves into more than enough for thousands. You have promised to provide, and you are faithful and so worthy of our trust and praise.

Help us to trust that for every illness, every hardship, every loss, and every strained relationship, you have a plan to overcome evil with good. You are not done doing miracles. You are not done shining your light in the darkness. You are still pouring out comfort, and peace…you are still healing…you are still protecting and encouraging and releasing your power, strength, and might into any believer who asks. Help us to be bold in our faith and strong in you.

Help us to be aware of anything in our lives that draws us away from you and keeps us from being the best we can be. Help us to be courageous as you work in our lives during these difficult times. We dedicate our lives, this day, and this new month to you. Father, we ask that with each new day that passes that more people will find healing from the virus and that there will be fewer and fewer new cases. We pray that each day will see us getting closer to opening back up our cities, states, and countries. Please help all who are not doing well mentally or emotionally because of all that is going on. Please touch them as only you can.

We are joining our voices as one, and asking you to heal our land and heal our world. When this is all over, we pray that we won’t just go back to the way we were before. May we carry the lessons we’ve learned with us, and be better than we were before this all started. May we seek you and put your first in all things. May our leaders seek your will, not their own. May we remember daily what a precious gift our freedoms are and how incredibly blessed we are when we can be with those we love. May we treasure the ability to go to church, work, and school and take nothing for granted. Continue to work in us and through us each day. We look forward to all you will do. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.

May the month ahead bring you many blessings!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
