Daily Prayer For April 29, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For April 29, 2020

on Wed Apr 29, 2020 10:27 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Heavenly Father,

We come before you this morning with grateful hearts. We are thankful for the peace and confidence you instill in us when you tell us, “Fear not, for I am with you.” The darkness is not dark to you, and you know the way we should go. We thank you that even as we see the dark times that have fallen across the world, we have your hope that sustains us and allows us to not be anxious or afraid.

Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. We realize that the future of our world is so accurately foretold in the Bible. Please regularly prompt us to be interceding in prayer for families, friends, neighbors, communities, our countries, and our leaders. We pray for all who have been impacted by this pandemic. We are all in the same storm, but we are not all in the same boat. We have all been affected differently and to different degrees. We ask that people who are struggling to hold on will find you to be their refuge in this storm.

We pray for the victims of evil acts of violence around the world. We pray for the ill, injured, and for all the families who are grieving today because of losses. We pray for all who are displaced, terrorized, persecuted, imprisoned, enslaved, and homeless. We grieve with those who grieve. Our hearts are heavy for the things we feel powerless to change, but we know that as long as we have a voice to pray, we are not powerless. Where two or three are gathered, you are in their midst, and the faithful, fervent prayers of righteous people can accomplish much. We cry out to you, Father, and ask for your protection, provision, healing, and deliverance for all we have mentioned.

You are the hope that is needed for this world that is so full of anger, division, mistrust, and people who are so easily offended by everything except what offends you. You are the answer to all that ails this sin-sick world. Help us to not be discouraged, but to remain faithful and to draw our strength from you. We thank you for being our rock, our fortress, our shield, our protector, and our guiding light. Help us overcome evil with good. Heal us, Lord, that we may be healed…emotionally, mentally, physically, so we can serve you well.

We turn to you as The Way, The Truth, and The Life. We thank you for your light, which is there to guide us no matter how dark the night, how uncertain the way, or how stormy the sea. No matter what we face, we know we can face tomorrow because Jesus lives! We are thankful we can come to you with our needs in the name of our risen King Jesus. Amen.

May you be encouraged, friends! He is on the throne, and He is with you and for you!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
