Daily Prayer For April 26, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For April 26, 2020

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

There are so many whose lives are crumbling and falling apart. Many were in hard situations before the pandemic hit, and now the losses, struggles, and difficulties are piling up. Life has come to a standstill because of the virus, but our enemy continues his attacks. You know that some of the losses and trials that people are dealing with are so life-changing and devastating they need the kind of intervention that only you can provide.

Father, you are the God of miracles. Where our words fail, where our ability to help is limited, we know you can do what we cannot. We ask for your peace and comfort to fall on each scared, numb, broken, and hurting heart. We intercede in prayer for those who are in the grip of depression and are despairing of life. We pray for all who live with chronic pain, illness, and disability. So many are struggling under the weight of so many issues. What they deal with on a day to day basis has been exacerbated by stress, and the inability to get the care and relief they need during these extraordinary times.

We pray for all who are in dire situations where they see no hope on the horizon. We lift up to you, all who have tried to find needed resources but have come up empty-handed. Please intervene for your children, Father. We know you see each need, and we are grateful for your promise to provide. Please restore what the locusts have eaten and what the enemy has stolen. Help us to trust and be at peace while we wait on you.

Thank you for being our way-maker, healer, provider, deliverer, and refuge from the storms. May we come to know you in ways we didn’t even know were possible in the midst of these difficult times. May we come out on the other side of these challenges, stronger, more resilient, more reliant on you, and with a deep faith that cannot be shaken. May these trials and struggles make us better, not bitter, and more like Jesus. We are grateful you are still the same miracle-working God you have always been and that you will never leave or forsake us. Thank you for standing with us in all we face. May we rise up from our places of brokenness and sorrow with your help, strength, and power. Help us to remember our divine inheritance as over-coming children of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. With humble and grateful hearts, we thank you that we can ask these things in the name of our Savior and Messiah, Jesus. Amen

May His hope fill your heart, friends!
