Daily Prayer For April 3, 2020

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Our Father,
Too often in life, we rush through our days. We are often overworked and have many demands on us and our time. When we deal with adversity and times of loss, illness, or trials, we can be too preoccupied trying to survive to see the signs you give us to let us know that you are with us. During this unique time, we are being given a chance to slow down, recalibrate and realign our lives, priorities, and how we use our time. Help us to make a conscious effort to see you and hear you. Help us to cast on you, our cares, and everything that weighs heavy on us. Help us to meditate on your Word night and day. Help us to embrace all that you are trying to speak to us and teach us while you have our undivided attention. Please refresh and revive us. Renew a right spirit within us. Please do a cleansing work in us and forgive us for our sins. Help us to forgive others as you have forgiven us. May we use this time to share your love with others. May we offer the same comfort and encouragement to others that you have extended to us.
For those who are struggling to hold on…for all who are having a hard time being isolated…for anyone who is having difficulty coping with all that is going on in addition to what they were already dealing with…we ask you to comfort each one and fill them with peace. We may not know how to navigate uncharted waters, but you do, and you are with us. Your presence is all we need to survive any storm. With your help, we can do all things, and nothing is impossible for you.
Often we flounder when our routines and sense of security are stripped away, but those times are an opportunity to come to know you as our Savior who walks on water and grabs hold of our hands and will not let us go. No matter what happens, changes, or what is stripped from our lives, you are the security and stability we need and can count on.
Thank you for your faithfulness, your goodness, and kindness towards us and for the hope we have in you. We are thankful that this world, with all of its heartaches and struggles, is not our home, and we are only passing through on our way to the beautiful place you have prepared for us. We are grateful for our Savior, Redeemer, and Messiah Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
Wishing you a blessed day with Jesus, friends!
