Daily Prayer For March 24, 2020
on Wed Mar 25, 2020 7:25 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
It’s during times adversity, and times when we have physical, emotional, mental, or financial struggles that we realize what we often take for granted. We don’t appreciate pain-free days until we live with pain. We don’t appreciate good health until it’s a struggle to feel good. We take for granted how precious and vital a good night’s sleep is until we face sleepless nights. When things are good, we forget what a blessing it is to not have to struggle with things like worry, sadness, anxiety, and financial problems. Right now, the whole world is coming to realize all of the things that we have taken for granted. We understand now more than ever, how quickly life can change. You are showing us the many ways that we need to get our lives in order and right with you.
At this moment in time, the entire world is being reminded of what a blessing it is to spend face to face time with loved ones. What a blessing it is to be able to go to work…to have the freedom to move about…to be able to buy food and necessities whenever we like…to be able to gather together and attend church with other believers. May we come out of this crisis with more appreciation of the things that we have taken for granted, and perhaps even complained about. May this time make us re-evaluate our priorities, our relationships with others and with you. May we learn to be more grateful for all that we have. May we be more aware of the little comforts that you send us and the many ways you bless our lives. May these days make us more mindful of how precious life is and help us to appreciate the people you’ve given us who make our lives more meaningful. May these difficult times lead us to pause and reflect, become better people, and draw closer to you. Help us to treasure each day for the gift that it is.
Thank you for all the ways you bless our lives. Thank you for walking with us and seeing us through the difficult challenges we face. We know it is your grace, strength, and mercy that is sustaining us now. We love you, Lord, and we are so grateful to be loved by you. Blessed be your name. It’s in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Blessings be upon you, friends!
