Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for giving us another day of life. We ask today for you to grant us wisdom and help us to take the best care of ourselves that we can, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Stress takes such a toll on us, and these are stressful times for us all. During these unprecedented times, help us to take inventory and implement what we can do to help ourselves in every area of our lives.
Please help us to be conscious of what thoughts we entertain. You tell us to fill our minds and meditate on things that are true, noble, loving, and gracious—the best of things, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things that lift up, not tear down; things that inspire hope instead of despair. We’re told when we think about these things, we will have your peace. Help us to take our thoughts captive. Help us to let go of anything that robs us of your peace or negatively impacts our physical, emotional, or mental health and well-being. May our thoughts and actions be reflective of you and the indwelling of your Holy Spirit. We know that troubling times and adversity can be used to make us stronger and more like Jesus. Please help us to be all we can be in you.
We continue to pray for our world, our leaders, all medical personnel, and all who are on the front lines providing every form of care and services that are needed to see us all through these troubling times. May all who are worn out, overwhelmed, and past the point of exhaustion feel your supernatural energy and strength coursing through them to sustain them. We ask you to protect them from the virus and the effects of lack of sleep, and the trauma and stresses of all they are dealing with. Please bless them for their sacrifices and selflessness. Please make a way of provision for all the needed medical supplies that are in such short supply. Please help and provide for all who are distraught and in need because they can’t get the basic necessities they need. We continue to ask with one voice and heart, for miracles and for your divine intervention to the end to this pandemic. Please pour out the healing, grace, and mercy only you can provide.
We know many hearts are broken today with the ever-increasing number of lost loved ones. May every hurting heart feel your comfort and nearness amid their losses and pain. We pray for healing for all who are battling with illness. We look to you, our Healer, Savior, Refuge, and Provider. Please meet us all at the place of our greatest need. May we have sweet fellowship with you today. Thank you for speaking words of truth, comfort, peace, and hope to our hearts. We thank you and praise you for who you are, and for all you do. In Jesus’s name, we ask these things. Amen.
Blessings be upon you, friends!
