Daily Prayer For March 18, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For March 18, 2020

on Wed Mar 18, 2020 9:29 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

You tell us that the faithful, fervent prayers of righteous people does much good…so once again, we ask for your mercy and grace concerning all that is happening in our world. We ask for comfort for those who have lost loved ones. We pray for all who are in unsafe and scary situations. Please be their deliverer, protector, and comforter. We ask for strength, energy, and protection for all who are working to provide medical care, lab services, medical equip, emergency services, etc. We pray for all who work in grocery stores, warehouses, trucking and delivery services, and all the professions who are putting in so many long hours trying to keep society up and running.

We know amid the virus crisis, countless people are displaced and struggling in the aftermath of tornadoes, storms, fires, earthquakes, wars, and other types of tragedies and disasters. We can only imagine what an incredible struggle it is for people to be dealing with multiple life-changing things at once. Oh, Father, please make a way where there seems to be no way. Make roadways in the wilderness and streams in the deserts. Please open your storehouses to provide for the many needs of your children. May people in need see you move on their behalf.

We know we are in a constant battle with an enemy who hates us and will use whatever means he can to try to harm us physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially. He hopes that we will despair of life. He hopes that we will doubt you and turn away from you. Help us to remember that at the mention of your name, he must flee. Help us to remember that we are covered by the blood of Jesus. We may have encounters with evil and difficulties that drop us to our knees, but you are there beside us to be our shield and to pick us up. We do not walk or fight alone. Our enemy does not have the last word, the last laugh or victory. We are yours, and you are ours, and no one can snatch us from your hand. The storms may rage, but they will not last forever. Help us to cling to your promises and remember that you promise to restore what the locusts have eaten, and what the enemy has stolen.

May everyone around the world dealing with pain, loss, illness, and adversity feel your nearness. We are encouraged as we hear stories circulate about many acts of kindness and people reaching out selflessly to help others. We pray for the helpers and encouragers and ask you to bless them. Tragedies often remind us of what’s really important in life. May we continue to see hope, kindness, love, and compassion arise. May all that is good prevail. We thank you that we can ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen.

May you be filled with Christ’s hope and peace today!
