Daily Prayer For March 10, 2020
on Tue Mar 10, 2020 9:19 pm
Hello Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…
Our Father,
What an incredible, wonderful mystery it is that Christ can dwell in us…that we can become partakers in His divine nature…that through His blood, we are made clean…that His strength is manifest in our weakness…that we are all part of the same vine…all part of the same body…children of the One True God, who claims us as His own.
All of these things speak of how close we can be to you and how treasured we are by you. Please forgive us when we let the troubles of this life overshadow your nearness and allow the things of this world to overwhelm and consume us. Too often, we forget that you are within us, and nothing overwhelms you.
As we go about our day, may we be filled with a sense of awe and wonder as we think about you being with us every moment of every day. May we walk humbly, but with confident assurance that with your help, we will be able to handle everything we face this day. We are not an afterthought to you. We don’t have to fight for your attention. We have never lived one minute of our lives without being wanted or loved by you. We never have to doubt your word, your promises, or your love. We never have to worry about being rejected by you. You take delight in us. You love us even when we feel the most unlovable and unworthy of being loved.
Help us to focus on our blessings and all that we have to be grateful for. Life may be hard…there is much that is not good in our lives. There is much pain, suffering, and many struggles and battles, but there is also victory and overcoming through Christ. There are victories and blessings with our names written on them that we’ve yet to see. You have given us so much…so many riches that the world can’t give or take away. So much awaits. There are so many blessings and promises that are ours to claim. Thank you, Lord, for being in our midst and for your love that you lavish upon us. We praise you and offer our lives to you. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
May you be overwhelmed by His great love for you today!
