Daily Prayer For March 6, 2020
on Sun Mar 08, 2020 8:56 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
One of the few constants in life is change, but change is never easy. Many of us find ourselves in uncharted waters. We have had changes thrust upon us that we didn’t want. Many feel lost, alone, and afraid, and they don’t know what to do or where to turn. You are aware of every need and everything each person is feeling. Please fill us with your peace and help us to sense your nearness. We may not know what the future holds, but you do. We may not know which direction to take or which way to turn, but you do. You have seen every day of our lives before we have lived even one day. You know what you are doing, even if we don’t understand your plans.
You promise us if we acknowledge you in all of our ways, you shall direct our paths. Please go before us, smooth the rough roads, and give us grace for the challenges that lie ahead. Help us to welcome these changes as a pathway to a deeper faith and a more vibrant relationship with you. Help us to be open to new places, people, and blessings that these changes may bring us to. Help us to remember that endings are also new beginnings, and you work all things together for good for those who love you.
Jesus told us that He is the Light of the World, and whoever follows Him will not walk in darkness. The dark valleys are not intended to be a place for us to stay, they are only a path to greater awareness and knowledge of you. You call us out of the shadows to be called Children of the Light. Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star who dispels the darkness. He is Immanuel, who is forever with us. He is our loving Shepherd who tells us we shall lack nothing, and we have no reason to fear because He is with us. May your light and love cast out all fear and be a light to our path.
Thank you for your love and great care for us. May we all find comfort, rest, and peace in you this day. We give you all praise, glory, and honor, and thank you in advance for all you will do. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
May you have a blessed and peaceful day, friends!
