Daily Prayer For March 5, 2020
on Sun Mar 08, 2020 8:52 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for keeping us safe through the night and for this new day. Please help us to remember today that our resurrected Savior is alive within us. Help us to be conscious of the fact that Your Spirit is working in us and transforming us to be more like Jesus. For everything we lose, we gain so much more. The more we decrease, the more Jesus increases in us. The more we look to you, the dimmer the things of this world appear. Please increase our stamina and energy as we face the challenges that are changing us to be more like Jesus. Help us to not just die to self, but to be alive in you. Help us to be teeming with confidence, hope, peace, and joy, because of your wonder-working, resurrection power that is within us.
Help us to live joyously because death has been swallowed up in victory. Help us to take your promises to heart more than we take our problems to heart. Help us to focus more on you, our Problem Solver, than our problems. Help us to focus more on you, Our Comforter, than the things that we seek comfort for.
May your Word come alive within us. The world and the enemy are always trying to tear us down, but your Word builds us up. It reminds us of your life-giving truths. It reminds us of all that you are, all that you can do and all that we can do through you with your power and your strength. Help us to live as you intended and not be limited by our own thoughts, actions, or the words and actions of others. Help us to turn our sadness and the things that weigh heavy on our hearts into prayers and praise. Help us to rise up today in your power, strength, and abilities. We are grateful that the trials of this life are temporary when compared to eternity, and that all of our struggles and losses will be overshadowed in the blink of an eye when you welcome us home. We love you, Lord. We are grateful for your mercies and grace that are new each day. May you be glorified in us and through us today. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen
Praying blessings over you always, friends!
