Daily Prayer For March 3, 2020

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Today we want to lift to you all who feel constantly tired, drained, sleep-deprived, weary or in need of rest. Grief, worry, anxiety and stressful situations can cause physical, mental and emotional exhaustion. Many who are praying with us have medical issues or take medications that making sleeping difficult. Many here are caregivers, or they work long hours and they can’t remember the last time they had a full night of uninterrupted rest. There so many reasons for insomnia and sleepless nights and you are aware of them all and all we are dealing with and going through. You see the struggles that no one else sees. You know how we feel physically, emotionally and mentally and you understand the things we can’t explain to others. You know the causes and cures that are needed for what ails and impacts each of us.
Lord, you tell us to ask, seek and knock. You created us with the need to sleep and you know better than anyone the toll it takes on us in every way when we don’t get adequate rest. We ask for your divine intervention today. We ask for your wisdom. insight, healing, peace, comfort, understanding, and relief. Please be our way maker, healer, deliverer, restorer, provider and the one who leads us beside still waters so we can rest.
You tell us that where two or three are gathered you are in our midst…so we come in agreement now and ask these things according to your will. Where there is an act of faith that is necessary on our part or a change in lifestyle that is needed… if there are things that we can do to help ourselves and we have not done them… either because we are unaware or because we don’t know how to make it happen…we come to you and ask as a child asking their father, please help us so we can succeed, overcome and find relief in this area. Most of us know someone who struggles with sleep issues as well, so we lift up those we know who are in need of your help, even if we don’t need help in this area ourselves.
Thank you for understanding all we face and for going through our difficulties and challenges with us. We look to you, we wait on you and we trust you as we place these burdens, cares and petitions in your hands. We thank you in advance for all you will do. We are grateful that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
Blessings be upon you, friends!
