Daily Prayer For February 12, 2020
on Fri Feb 14, 2020 10:12 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Lord,
As we gather together today, we lift up all who don’t know you. When we hear and read the news, we see so many who say they are afraid for the future. Our hearts are filled with compassion and sadness, especially for children and young adults who haven’t been brought up in Christian homes. They don’t know the good news of the gospel. They don’t know they have a loving Heavenly Father, who is firmly in control. They don’t know about Jesus and all He made possible for us. They don’t know the hope you offer. They don’t understand that no matter what the future holds, you hold the future safely in your hands. They don’t know that this world is not our home, that this life is only a small fragment of our eternal lives, or that you have prepared for those who love you, a place that is more wonderful than anyone can begin to imagine.
Please open eyes, give opportunities to hear the gospel and soften hearts so those who don’t know you might receive the gifts that you offer. You love every person, and you desire that all would be saved. You know the what, when, and where of what it will take for each one of us to come to a saving knowledge of who you are. Please do whatever it takes to make people see their need for you. This life is difficult even with you by our side. It’s hard to imagine how people navigate through life without you.
Today, we intercede on behalf of our world, our families, and friends…on behalf of those who are lost, hurting, broken, spiritually-blind, misguided and misled. Please do what only you can do to intervene and set people free from whatever it is that is keeping them from you. We know that you are greater than anything in this world and we thank you in advance for all you will do.
We are grateful that even when life is hard, you are good. Help us to be lights in the darkness with the words that we speak, the things that we do, and the way we live our lives. May people see you in us and may we continually be pointing the way to you. Help us to be bold in sharing the gospel. Help us to be consistent in praying and interceding for others.
In the mighty name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen
Thank you for praying with me friends!
