Daily Prayer For February 9, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For February 9, 2020

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We thank you for waking us this morning. May we live this day with a healthy mindset and attitude. You tell us to take our thoughts captive and to think about things that are true, right, and lovely. The thoughts we meditate on before falling asleep at night help determine our mood when we wake up the next morning. Our waking thoughts in the morning, help set the tone for the rest of our day. You tell us to meditate on Your Word night and day. Help us to make this our way of life. May these choices become as automatic and natural to us as breathing is.

Help us to remember that we are no longer slaves to this world, but heirs to your Kingdom. When our inner dialogue about ourselves is negative, or when we dwell on the hurtful things said to us by others, please remind us of what you think of us. May we cling to the truth that we are made in your image and that You loved us so much you sent Jesus to die in our place. Help us to remember that You say we are able, capable, useful, and equipped for the plans that you have made for us. Help us to boldly speak your truth to ourselves. We are grateful that Jesus set us free from the wages of sin and death and we don’t need to be a slave to our thoughts or the opinions of others. Help us to remember that whom the Son sets free, is free indeed. Help us to step out in faith, follow your instructions and walk in obedience to receive the freedom you offer.

We may have limitations, but as your children, we have access to your limitless resources. You freely offer us your peace, joy, strength, grace, and wisdom…but, we must choose to receive these things daily. We often feel helpless and out of control. Help us to remember that things are never out of your control. You have gone before us, you walk with us, you surround us and sustain us. It doesn’t matter who or what comes against us, because you are for us. May these be the truths that we cling to and remind ourselves of today.

We thank you, Lord, for all you give us and all you do for us. Thank you for the countless ways you lavish your love upon us. We are grateful. We give you all praise, glory, and honor as we ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen

May you have a blessed and peaceful day!
