Daily Prayer For January 9, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For January 9, 2020

on Fri Jan 10, 2020 6:56 pm
Hello Friends! I’m feeling led to re-post this prayer today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

No matter where we find ourselves, and no matter what has happened in our lives, nothing has escaped you. You have seen every tear and heard every cry. You know our innermost thoughts, and you understand us like no other.  You know our strength is insufficient to get us through the hard things in life. You already know that we will have times when there is no fight left in us…you knew before we lived one day how much we would need you just to survive. You don’t want our weaknesses, failures, or struggles to lead to despair…you want everything to lead us closer to you. Your word says your strength is perfected and on display in our weakness. You have an infinite reserve of your power, strength, and grace just waiting for us…we only need to look to you and draw close to you to receive it.

When we wait on you…when we hope in you…when we rely on you, you renew our strength. You don’t ask us to do anything on our own. You don’t expect us to overcome, persevere, survive, trust, or forgive in our own strength. When you say you will supply all of our needs, you don’t just mean financially, you mean you will provide the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual things we need as well.

Help us to see our limitations as a conduit to greater things…a fulfilling of your desires for us…a longing you have to complete us and to give us more of yourself. Help us to see the blessings in our struggles. Help us to cast aside the way we think things should be. You tell us if we come to you and ask, you will show us great and mighty things that we don’t know. Help us to come to know you in ways we didn’t know were even possible. Please help us to be consecrated to you and to seek your will in all that we do. The days go by so quickly, Father. Help us to make the most of our days, and to please you in all of our ways. We thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen.

May you feel His power and strength today!
