Daily Prayer For January 4, 2020 Empty Daily Prayer For January 4, 2020

on Sun Jan 05, 2020 9:13 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your Word tells us to be vigilant and on-guard because our adversary is always lurking, seeking who he can devour and destroy. Like a hungry lion stalking his prey, he never gives up. He never stops looking for areas of weakness so he can attack. Whether we want to be or not, we are in a battle with an enemy who hates us because we love you. He knows he can’t snatch our souls when we belong to you, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to keep us from serving you and fulfilling our calling and purpose. He wants us to be miserable, full of doubt, and despair. He wants to rob us of our peace, joy, contentment, purpose, and of every other good thing that comes from your hand.

Father, we are asking that your Spirit would rise up within each of us. Help us to be unafraid to face the things that surround us and are in front of us. Help us to remember that we do not fight alone. Your angel armies are fighting with us in this realm, and in the realms, we cannot see. It doesn’t matter who or what comes against us, because you are for us. We are equipped, and we are chosen for this time. We might think we are limited because we are just one person, but all it takes is one flame to light up the darkness…one person with you is a majority…one person can change the world in ways that ripple throughout eternity by praying against evil… by praying for others… by praying for our leaders…by praying for the lost and the hurting.

May we see ourselves as warriors and overcoming children of the King of Kings. Help us to remember whose we are. Help us to rise up with wings like eagles and soar above the chaos and troubles of this world. Help us to renew our strength.  Our lives are like vapors, and our time is so short…help us to live with eternity in mind. Help us to remember that we are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; we are persecuted, but we do not stand alone; we are struck down but not destroyed; we carry within us the same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead…when we are weak, you are strong in us…we are not defenseless. Hope is alive and everpresent, and He has a name. His name is Jesus, our Risen Savior, King, and Messiah, who assures us of victory. Thank you, Lord, in advance for all you will do. It’s in Jesus’ name we pray and ask these things. Amen.

May you boldly face this day and each day to come this year knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in this world!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
