Daily Prayer For December 1, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For December 1, 2019

on Sun Dec 01, 2019 10:54 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

As we enter this Christmas season, help us to remember how many prophecies were fulfilled with the birth of Jesus. Help us to keep in mind that not one word of yours fails to come to pass. Help us to keep our thoughts focused on you, your miracles, and the wonder you are during this holy season.

Your people waited 400 long years between when it was prophesied that the Messiah would come and when Jesus was actually born. During those years, you were busy lining things up and arranging things so prophecies could unfold as they were foretold. You were mostly silent during that time, but you weren’t absent. You are faithful, we are forgetful. Too often, we forget your past deeds, miracles, and promises. While we grow impatient in times of waiting, you are working behind the scenes putting things into motion to fulfill your plans, purposes, promises, and prophecies. When you say the time is right, things happen and change quickly. Help us to remember that this day, this week, or this coming month could be the appointed time when we see our prayers answered and dreams fulfilled.

Help us to trust you and your timing. Help us to stand fast, be strong and courageous, and never give up. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we know that you do, and you hold tomorrow and all of our days in your hands. You will fulfill your promises and your plan in each of our lives. You will reward us if we don’t grow weary in doing well. Help us keep our eyes on you and not the clock, the calendar, or any other thing that might try to weigh us down or make us forget that you are in control.

When we are called to wait on you, help us to feed our spirit and mind consistently with the truth from your Word. Just as our bodies need nourishment, so do our souls. Your Word is our spiritual daily bread. It is manna you have provided for us to feed our minds and nourish our spirits.

Lord, as we enter this last month of the year and of this decade, we re-dedicate our lives to you and ask that you heal us, cleanse us and make us more like our Savior. May we fall more in love with you with each passing day. May we honor you and bring you glory first and foremost through all of our preparations and celebrations this month. With humble, thankful hearts, we ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

May the month ahead be blessed and full of His peace and joy.

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
