Daily Prayer For November 27, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For November 27, 2019

on Wed Nov 27, 2019 10:58 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

As we gather today, we pray for those who are grieving or missing someone. On special dates, anniversaries and during the holidays, we tend to feel our losses more. During certain times of the year, we are reminded of how life used to be and how much life changes the older we get. Sometimes, even when we are enjoying life, we think about how we wish we could share those special moments with those who aren’t with us.

Today we lift up to you the divorced, separated, widowed, and single…the parents who have lost children and all who are estranged separated or unable to be with family members. We pray for all who have never had a close family or the love or approval that they have longed for, and they are feeling very alone. We lift up all who have loved ones who are dealing with things like dementia and Alzheimer’s, and they miss the person their loved one used to be. We pray for all who are in failing health or have loved ones who are dealing with failing health.

For each person who is hurting today, we ask that your healing hand would be upon them and that they would feel your comforting arms embracing them. We ask that you would turn their mourning to joy. We humbly pray that you would take away the feelings of emptiness and the longing for what was, or might never be…

Only you can fill the void that we all feel at times. This earth is not our home, and the things of this life can never satisfy us like you can. We can only imagine what it will be like to finally feel whole and complete and lacking nothing, and what a joyous thing it will be to be united with you and reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us. We will be in every way, who and what we were created to be…not lacking in any way. May these thoughts give everyone a sense of hope, peace, and comfort today…better days are ahead…our best days have yet to happen.

Please bless all who are reading this prayer. May we sense your nearness and be overwhelmed by your supernatural love, joy, and peace today. We thank you in advance for the ways you will answer our prayers. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

May His peace, comfort, and joy fill you to overflowing!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
