Daily Prayer For November 20, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For November 20, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

You tell us in your Word to love one another. One of the ways we can love others is to pray for them. Today we pray for comfort for all who are dealing with tragedies, for all who have lost loved ones and for all who are homeless or displaced. We pray for the people of Venezuela and every other country where they are dealing with food shortages and are going without the basic necessities of life. We pray for all who live where there is fighting, unrest, chaos, and suppression of freedoms. We pray for all who are powerless to change their circumstances, and they need the type of miracles that can only come from you. So many of our brothers and sisters around the world are dealing with unbelievable hardships, persecution, and suffering. Please make a way so things can change. Please open doors, bring deliverance, comfort, and provision for every need.

Lord, help us to see past ourselves and our own needs. Often we find healing and comfort for our own hearts and hurts when we reach out to help others. Help us to comfort others with the same comfort that you give us. Remind us to pray for others consistently. Please bless us so we can be a blessing.

Help us to love well and to serve you well. Your love is not an emotion that comes and goes. Your love is motivated and intentional. It takes action when it sees a need. It is concerned about the welfare of others. It is sacrificial. It puts others before self. It seeks to serve and not to be served. Please help us to see with your eyes and love with your love. Help us to remember that we are all part of the same body, and when one part hurts, we should all hurt.

Many of us have found in times of need that people have not been there for us the way we thought they would. Please uproot any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness we might harbor. May those painful experiences help us to love better so we might save someone else from going through the same pain. Please help your church to work the way you intended. Help us to be salt and light in the darkness that points the way to you. May we be so filled with your love that those who don’t know you will be drawn to you. Help us to be your hands and feet and mighty prayer warriors.

Please go before us today and order our day. Please lead and guide us, grant us your wisdom and discernment, and speak to us of things that we don’t yet know. We thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we ask these things. Amen

May you have a peaceful day, friends!
