Daily Prayer For October 14, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For October 14, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for bringing us to the beginning of a new week. We ask you to go before us and make the rough roads smooth and the crooked places straight. Help us to have an attitude of gratitude in all that we do. Some of us are so battle-weary, Father. It’s been one challenge, trial, and loss after another. Some of us are starting out this week tired. We are not sleeping well or enough. We ask for your strength and energy to sustain us. Please take what little sleep we’ve had and multiply it. Please help us to function well and rise above the physical toll that not getting enough sleep takes on our bodies. Many who are praying with us are facing so many challenges as care-givers with little help and few resources. They want to take better care of themselves, but their circumstances make it really hard to do that. Many don’t know how they will be able to keep up with what they have to do…life is so overwhelming at the moment, but we know you are faithful. You know our needs. You hear our prayers, and we trust that you have us in these places for a reason, and you equip us for all you call us to.

While we wait on provision and help, we look to you for your sustaining grace and ask you to manifest yourself in our weakness. Please bless our bodies, our time, our resources, our mental outlook, and our emotional strength. We ask you to work in us and through us to do what seems to be impossible. All that we do, we do as unto you. We want to do all things with your love, kindness, and compassion and with a cheerful heart, but when we are tired and overworked, that gets harder to do. Please help us to tap into your wells and resources that never run dry. Help us to face our days with courage and your joy and with trust and hope in you.

For some, the days pass so quickly they are like a blur. For others, they drag on as they are filled with illness, loneliness, stress, pain, and grief. You tell us to rejoice in all things. You ask us to be content in all things. You tell us that laughter is good medicine. These things seem hard to do when we are in difficult places. Please teach, instruct and help us to believe that if you call us to something, it is possible with your help. Help us to be intentional with looking for blessings amid hard days. Help us to seek out reasons to smile and laugh throughout our day. We lift our eyes to you, the source of our help, power, and strength. Please help us to serve you well and to make the most of our days. We thank you in advance for all you will do. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Praying blessings on you and your week, friends!
