Daily Prayer For July 12, 2019 Empty Daily Prayer For July 12, 2019

on Fri Jul 12, 2019 11:21 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

As we gather together today, we lift up to you all who are waiting for the storm to hit off the Gulf of Mexico. We ask for your mercy and divine intervention to calm the winds and the waves. May this storm lessen in severity and impact, so it doesn’t do the damage that it is forecast to do. We pray for all who are in the path of this storm. We ask that you would give them peace to replace their fears, worries, and anxious thoughts.

We pray for all who are dealing with the aftermath of monsoons, floods, fires, earthquakes, and storms around the world. We pray for all who are without food, clothing, shelter and a way to provide for their families…there are so many who are without the things that so many of us take for granted. We have lifted many of these things up to you in prayer this week, but we are told to pray without ceasing and to pray for one another. We may not be in positions to financially or physically help those we are praying for, but we can pray on their behalf and lift them to you, knowing you can do what we can’t. We ask you to raise up the people who are in positions to help…especially where some whole towns and communities are impacted by tragedies and disasters. We ask that amid so much suffering, heartache and loss that people will find you to be their provider and source of refuge, help, hope, strength, courage, comfort, and peace.

Lord, you are the God Who Sees. You are the God of All Comfort. You Are The God of Peace.  We are grateful that there is not one thing that goes on in this universe that you are not aware of. You know each star by name, and you hold each one in place. You know the number of hairs on our heads, you see each sparrow that falls, and your thoughts for us are more than the number of grains of sand. What is overwhelming for us is not too much for you.  When we feel burdened by our own cares and the cares of the world at large, we only need to come to you in prayer, and you offer us relief.

Thank you for sustaining us and for being the Light that guides our path. We have many needs in this life, but as we abide in you, you are so faithful to provide. We are so grateful for all you give and all you do. We bow before you with humble hearts, and we look forward to seeing you work your will in our lives and those we have lifted to you in prayer. We thank you and praise you in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God’s blessings be upon you friends. Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
