Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up to you those who are dealing with terminal health issues … whether it’s for themselves or someone they know. May each person who is dealing with illness feel your peace. May people find your comforting presence to replace their fears and anxious thoughts. Please ease any pain or discomfort. We pray there will not be prolonged suffering. Please pour out your mercy and grace and comfort all who are sad and overwhelmed as they face these difficult losses, challenges and changes.

Saying goodbye is never easy, even with the promise and hope of being together again in heaven…watching loved ones suffer is excruciatingly hard…for all who are preparing to say goodbye…for everyone who has lost someone and is grieving…for those who are dealing with health issues themselves and for those who are watching their loved ones deteriorating or struggling…please meet each need…we ask for you to send ministering angels…we pray that none of our loved ones would perish without knowing you…where there is doubt, fear, concern and worry about the status of a loved one’s salvation, we ask for you to make it abundantly clear so they might find peace and comfort…please open doors, soften hearts, give opportunities, bring conviction and revelations as only you can…

Please calm and bring peace to all who are feeling unsettled and lost…please give energy, strength and rest during such difficult, stressful and emotionally and physically demanding and draining times…please help the weary to find supernatural sleep and rest to sustain them…

Please help us to trust the things that we can’t control to your hands. Help us to keep our thoughts centered on you so we can have your peace…help us to be open to your leading and promptings and help us to lay our burdens before you that we might walk in the freedom that Jesus bought for us.

We love you Father and we are thankful to be your children. We are thankful that we never walk alone and thankful for all you give us and for the many ways you take care of us, especially during the difficult times and things we face in life.

We are grateful for the promise of what is to come…for the future we will share with you…that there is coming a day where there will be no more pain, suffering, illness, tears, grief or loss…thank you for giving us a hope filled future where we will be reunited with lost loved ones and we will never have to say goodbye again…most of all, we thank you for our Savior Jesus, who makes it possible for us to come to your throne of grace and ask these things in His name. Amen

May you feel His peace, comfort and nearness friends!
