Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Gracious Heavenly Father,

We thank you for this first day of a new year…we thank you for the possibilities of brighter days that lay before us.  We recommit our lives to you this day. We ask you to forgive us of our sins and ask you to renew a right spirit within us. May your power flow in us and through us. Please bless us, so we can bless others. May others see you in us.

We ask for your comfort and the strength to carry on during the difficult days… we ask that people would be set free from the things that have held them back. May this be the year that we truly live and experience your overcoming power in our lives and live in the fullness of your joy.

We ask that you would help us to be brave and courageous in the battles we will face. May we grow in our faith and trust in you…may we be closer to you by the end of the year, than we are at this moment. May we grow in your knowledge and grace.  May we be men and women after your own heart who please you and bring honor to your name.

We pray for our leaders and our world. Please use believers everywhere to be lights in the darkness. May this be the year that those who don’t know you become followers of Jesus. May this be a year of revival in our lives, in our families, in our churches and communities and around the world.

Help us to dream big, pray boldly and not limit you or the works of your hands in any way. You tell us we have not because we ask not, so we ask for your favor and your blessing to be upon us and our loved ones. We ask for you to open your store houses and meet our financial needs. Please pour out your grace and mercy and help us to serve you well.

Please heal broken hearts, lives and relationships. May this be a year where we rise from the ashes and find renewal and restoration in every area of our lives. Please bring peace and calm where there is chaos and lead us from the dark valleys into your glorious light. We look forward to all you have for us in this coming year. We love you  and we are so grateful for you and for all you’ve given us. We praise you and thank you for allowing us to see another year. We ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus, Amen.

Praying God’s richest blessings upon you!

~Hope For The Brokenhearted
